Empowering YOU
My name is Emma Kingston (Winder). As a passionate educator and past senior leader, I am committed to helping individuals grow their capacity and supporting schools to create environments where learners can thrive.
As a school teacher I experienced exemplary leadership. I now support school leaders in all stages of their leadership journey to grow. I have extensive experience overseeing and developing online course material, coordinating powerful in person PD, keynote speaking, overseeing mentors, developing relationships with delegates and coaching delegates myself.
I have led education professional learning at a 1:1, school-wide, cluster and national level. I have 'walked the talk' as part of a senior leadership team tasked with bringing a school out of crisis to become a positive learning environment for students, staff and community.
My approach is to:
listen carefully
act compassionately
leverage off your strengths
work with integrity
ask questions that make you think
walk alongside you
But most importantly, my goal is to empower you to be the best leader you can be.
Impact

Emma listens and coaches well without problem solving situations for me. Positive kaiārahi who gives time to find further readings and links for myself. Has a calm manner about her. She makes you feel comfortable to share and express concerns. Great positive feedback.... Greatly appreciated.
Linda (Deputy Principal)

Loved working with Emma- she was supportive, caring and so helpful with extra readings and suggestions. I felt very comfortable communicating honestly with her and it helped me a lot.
Kate (Middle Leader)
Emma has been really supportive and responsive to our points of discussion. I felt that she remembered my concerns/ vision from our previous conversation and felt heard, respected and valued in our follow up conversation. She came across as very experienced and had plenty to contribute towards my inquiry focus and was able to provide valuable feedback.
Siouxzan (Middle Leader)

Emma has been fantastically supportive and helpful - always solutions-focussed and positive. She has been a confidential source of guidance and has directed me towards professional learning. If it was possible to continue working with Emma, I would really value this.
Alistair (Dean)

Emma has been incredible. I love that Emma is a young, like minded leader. I have learnt alot from her and felt very supported during the year. Nga Mihi Emma.
Stephen (Team Leader)

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for how much you helped me last year. Your mentoring and coaching made such a meaningful impact on me as a leader and personally. You were so supportive but also told me when I needed to 'put on my big girl pants'. Most importantly you also pointed out the positives when I couldn't see them and so I never got stuck in a negative mindset!
You are a remarkable person and I feel privileged to have worked with you. I aspire to one day match the standard you have set!
Pip (Head of Department)

Emma has been outstanding; when I have been in a challenging situation, she has made herself available to talk things through and offer advice. Emma has always made it clear that what is shared is in confidence and this has been really helpful in me feeling able to be honest. I have also appreciated Emma's regard for my wellbeing - this is above and beyond expectations of a kaiarahi. Thank you.
